Uh-Oh: Japan Accepts US Challenge To Giant Mech War

giant-robot-battle.jpg Last week, a US robotics company (MegaBots) challenged a Japanese one (Suidobashi Heavy Industry) to giant mech fight. This week, the Japanese company accepted the fight and wants to do it MELEE STYLE. The founder and CEO of Suidobashi Heavy Industry even got the shit talking started by stating the Americans should have made their robot cooler and that, "Just building something huge and sticking guns on it. It's...super American. We can't let another country win this. Giant robots are Japanese culture." Later, when explaining he wants to the fight to be melee style he said, "If we're going to win this, I want to punch them to scrap and knock them down to do it." Hoho -- strong words! That said, my money is 100% still on Japan just like it was in the Women's World Cup final yesterday so if you need me I'll be the guy with a crooked fake mustache on hurriedly packing a suitcase before my bookie comes to make my legs bend the wrong way. Keep going for Japan's video response.
